Registered Nurse - PRN

Role Overview The Nurse practices independently within a clinical setting, delivering both routine and complex patient care while demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation. They manage long-term goals, develop contingency plans, and delegate tasks to care team members to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in accordance with their practice level. Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitor effects, and document care activities. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying available resources. Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care providers to manage clinical situations effectively. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; current RN license in the applicable state. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Completion of orientation, competency validations, and annual training are mandatory.
