Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit serving low and high-risk patients across a neonatal, adolescent, and adult population
• Utilize external fetal monitoring and recognize and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulate for C-section procedures in the operating room
• Float to Perinatal unit as needed based on staffing requirements
• Work within a unit encompassing Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum areas with OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia support
• Adhere to unit communication and medication systems including SBAR, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with both low and high-risk Labor and Delivery patient populations
• Familiarity with Omnicell and eMD Allscripts systems
• Ability to pass an onsite Advanced EKG exam (80% minimum passing score required)
