Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers technical nursing care to Residents using the nursing process, functioning as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LVN may assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

Compensation Philosophy:

• We have 30 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience.

Compensation range:

• $34.99 - $49.89

Job Status / Shift Information:

• Per-diem, non-benefited
• Flexible Shifts

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least one (1) year experience as LVN
• Education: Current California LVN license. Graduate from an approved LVN program with an associates or equivalent degree. Current CPR Certification.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to apply good clinical judgment, plan work, establish priorities and maintain flexibility. Proficient written and verbal skills. Ability to use a computer proficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Organizes and directs shift responsibilities and duties
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physicians.
• Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift.
• Review medications and completeness of information.

Our program is operational from 7:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years.
