Job Title: Revenue Cycle Trainer and Auditor Organization: Rev Cycle - HIM HB Coding Location: Central Billing Office - Clinton Job Category: Clerical and Customer Service Job Summary: To design, coordinate, and implement staff education, training programs, competency assessments, professional development, and quality audit processes within the assigned department. Education & Experience: Degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) and 2 years of revenue cycle experience. Certifications, Licenses, or Registration: N/A Preferred Qualification: Supervisory experience and experience with EPIC. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrate highly engaging facilitation skills in a variety of learning environments to ensure effectiveness and accuracy in engaging audiences with diverse skill sets and learning needs. Demonstrated ability to perform and maintain working relationships within the department and across all business units to foster a team environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook). Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver targeted training for new and existing employees to meet both initial and ongoing educational and competency requirements within the assigned area, in alignment with departmental standards. Monitors employee test scores to ensure compliance with departmental qualifications and standards. Develop class schedules and maintain educational tracking records for ongoing staff training. Assess training needs within the assigned area and recommend process improvements. Collaborate in the development and revision of training materials and programs to enhance effectiveness. Prepare and conduct presentations, demonstrations, and special training sessions as needed. Regularly audit departmental quality and productivity, analyze findings, and recommend targeted educational remediation. Participate in performance improvement initiatives. Provide on-site auditing, monitoring, and workflow support to ensure adherence to revenue cycle best practices. Coordinate and schedule on-the-job and refresher training in collaboration with employees and management. Environmental and Physical Demands: Requires no exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environments such as high noise levels and exposure to heat and cold, no handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment, frequent working hours beyond regularly scheduled hours, occasional traveling to offsite locations, frequent activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, constant work produced is subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, frequent bending, frequent lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, no lifting/carrying up to 75 pounds, no lifting/carrying 100 pounds or more, no climbing, no crawling, occasional crouching/stooping, frequent driving, occasional kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, occasional reaching, frequent sitting, frequent standing, occasional twisting, and frequent walking.
