Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of health histories.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings.
• Engage closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans.
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance by preparing the operating room, ensuring patient safety, and managing surgical instruments.
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in Physician Assistant studies.
• Prior completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices is highly desirable.

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• Mandatory certification in BLS and ACLS.
• State license (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant.
