Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Contract

Location: Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shift (exact start and end times to be confirmed with recruiter)

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training to help them regain strength and independence
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising physical therapist
Educate patients on prescribed exercises and safety techniques to support their recovery at home
Work alongside a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to deliver compassionate, quality care
Keep accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active Oklahoma PTA license (or eligibility to obtain one)
Previous rehabilitation experience is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative setting

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid grasp of therapeutic exercise principles and functional mobility training
Ability to monitor and document patient progress
Knowledge of rehabilitation practices and clinical documentation standards
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach
Time management and adaptability in a dynamic rehab environment
