Clinical Sales Specialist — Medical Device (Greater Tampa Bay Area)
Immeka Medical Inc
CLINICAL SALES SPECIALIST
Medical Device | Tampa Bay, Florida | Full-Time | Field-Based
BREAK INTO MEDICAL SALES. BUILD A TERRITORY. EARN IT.
IMMEKA Medical is looking for an exceptional early-career professional who wants the opportunity to build a career in medical device sales.
Previous medical device sales experience is not required.
We are more interested in who you are and how you operate: Are you resourceful when the obvious path does not work? Do you naturally connect with people? Can you stay organized and execute consistently? Are you willing to work hard, hear “no,” learn from it, and find another way forward?
We can teach you the medicine. We can teach you the technology. We can teach you our sales process. We cannot teach you to want it.
The Opportunity
IMMEKA is a growing medical device company focused on women’s health and office hysteroscopy. Our mission is to help physicians transition hysteroscopy from the OR to the office.
As a Clinical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing IMMEKA’s business throughout your territory.
This is not a position where you inherit a mature territory and simply maintain existing relationships. You will be expected to build: identify opportunities, prospect physician practices, navigate offices, develop relationships with clinical and administrative teams, earn access to physicians, schedule lunches and demonstrations, follow up relentlessly, open new accounts, and develop those accounts into recurring customers.
You will have support. You will receive intensive training. Then we expect you to take ownership.
What You Will Do
- Build and develop a territory of OB/GYN practices and women’s health providers.
- Prospect new accounts through consistent in-person field activity, phone, email, referrals, networking, and creative account development.
- Develop relationships with physicians, medical assistants, office managers, surgical coordinators, and other key stakeholders.
- Schedule and conduct physician meetings, lunches, product presentations, demonstrations, and follow-ups.
- Understand how practices currently perform hysteroscopy and identify opportunities where IMMEKA can add clinical, operational, and economic value.
- Move opportunities forward even when the first person, first approach, or first door does not work.
- Maintain an organized territory plan and prioritize accounts intelligently.
- Document activity, contacts, opportunities, and next steps consistently in Odoo CRM.
- Follow up with discipline until there is a clear outcome.
- Support new customers through implementation, education, and ongoing account development.
- Become highly knowledgeable about IMMEKA’s technology, office hysteroscopy, the women’s health market, and physician-office procedures.
- Represent IMMEKA professionally in every customer interaction.
Who We Are Looking For
We are intentionally open to early-career professionals and recent graduates who want to break into medical sales. You may not have medical-device experience yet. That’s okay.
What matters much more to us is evidence of four characteristics:
Persistent Resourcefulness — When something does not work, you do not simply stop or repeat the same approach. You ask questions, gather information, connect with people, adapt, and find another legitimate path forward.
Human Connection — You genuinely enjoy interacting with people. You listen. You ask good questions. You build relationships naturally and understand that everyone — from the receptionist to the physician — matters.
Structured Execution — You can turn a large territory into a plan. You prioritize, execute, document, follow up, and repeat. You do not need someone constantly reminding you what comes next.
Work Ethic — You are willing to do the work. Territory sales means driving, prospecting, rejection, lunches, demonstrations, follow-ups, CRM documentation, preparation, and doing it again the next day.
We are looking for all four.
What We Value
We value people who take ownership, learn quickly, accept coaching, act with integrity, treat people well, and remain effective when things become difficult or uncomfortable.
You should be comfortable working independently while also being part of a small, entrepreneurial team where everyone contributes.
At IMMEKA, titles matter less than execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Recent graduates and early-career professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Previous medical device or healthcare sales experience is not required.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confidence interacting with new people and initiating conversations.
- Demonstrated organization, personal accountability, and follow-through.
- Able to receive direct feedback and apply it quickly.
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.
- Ability to attend occasional training, conferences, meetings, or customer activities outside the territory.
Your Territory
The initial territory will be Tampa Bay and surrounding markets.
This is a field sales position. A meaningful part of your time will be spent physically visiting physician offices and developing relationships throughout the territory.
This is not a remote desk-sales position.
Training & Development
You will begin with an intensive one-week IMMEKA training program covering product and clinical education, office hysteroscopy, customer workflow, IMMEKA’s value proposition, sales methodology, territory development, demonstrations, reimbursement fundamentals, CRM/Odoo, and customer communication.
After training, you will begin taking ownership of your territory.
You will continue to receive coaching and field support, but our expectation is that you progressively operate independently rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Our Selection Process
We believe potential should be demonstrated, not assumed from a résumé.
Our hiring process is designed to give candidates the opportunity to show us how they think and operate.
Selected candidates should expect a combination of video screening, structured sales simulations, an organization/execution exercise, evidence-based review, and a final one-day field experience with IMMEKA.
We are not looking for perfect answers. We are looking at what you do when the answer is not obvious.
Why IMMEKA
For the right person, this is an opportunity to enter medical sales early in your career, receive intensive training, work directly with company leadership, develop relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals, and take meaningful ownership of a territory.
You will not be one salesperson among hundreds.
Your performance will be visible. Your contribution will matter. And as IMMEKA grows, people who demonstrate that they can build with us will have the opportunity to grow with the company.
The Standard
We are not looking for someone who simply wants a medical sales job.
We are looking for someone who wants the opportunity to earn a career in medical sales.
If you are ambitious, resourceful, disciplined, comfortable being uncomfortable, and ready to prove what you can do, we want to meet you.
