POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Representative is responsible for working in an inside/outside sales capacity and managing accounts and customers, as well as overseeing the execution of sales programs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

1. Work with the management team to craft and implement sales strategies.

2. Develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines. Work closely with assigned channels/customers to achieve sales targets. This will include product education, research, competitive analysis, product penetration, development and execution of advertisement and promotional programs, and various plans and reports.

3. Manage and maintain assigned territory and own account. Evaluate internal and external sales performance to ensure customer satisfaction and reach sales targets. Develop specific sales plans to achieve sales targets and increase the market share in assigned territories.

4. Create new business relationships and manage existing accounts. Build relationships with supermarkets, restaurants, and other referral sources.

5. Cold call and discover new prospects through online and published sources.

6. Aggressively follow up on existing accounts and new account leads.

7. Travel to local and out-of-state for the business trip /food show or buyer on-site meeting few times a year.

8. Introduce and increase the number of SKUs in retailer customers, and provide support to source products.

9. Independently manage a constant pipeline of prospective accounts through the sales process.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.
