Clinical Services Manager – Registered Nurse (RN)

Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Clinical Services Manager supporting our homecare hospice teams.

This role combines clinical leadership, team support, and day-to-day operational oversight. You'll work closely with clinical staff to ensure patients and families receive high-quality, compassionate care while helping teams stay organized, supported, and successful in the field.

Support and Lead Clinical Teams

• Partner with the Director of Patient Services to support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
• Assist with staffing coordination, daily workflow management, and clinical operations
• Help maintain a positive, accountable, team-focused culture

Provide Clinical Oversight

• Review documentation and clinical workflows to support quality and compliance
• Assist with patient care coordination and problem resolution
• Provide clinical guidance and support to field staff as needed

Coach and Develop Staff

• Mentor and support nurses and aides through coaching, education, and real-time problem solving
• Assist with onboarding and development of new team members
• Help staff grow in confidence, clinical judgment, and time management

Help Ensure Excellent Patient Care

• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
• Step in to support patient visits or urgent needs when necessary
• Help families navigate difficult moments with compassion and professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Previous leadership, charge nurse, hospice, or homecare experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm and compassionate
• Passion for leadership, teamwork, and patient-centered care
