Platform Engineer

Salary: $68,900 - 131,100 per year Requirements:

• We typically look for a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience, unless local laws or regulations prevent this requirement.
• We need experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash.
• We need experience using ClearCase, Git, or similar configuration management tools.
• We need experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Linux operating systems.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. Government Secret security clearance before your start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• We support and improve our DevSecOps pipeline, using test automation, creative problem-solving, and the removal of low-value steps to drive efficiency.
• We respond quickly and effectively when pipeline outages or emergencies occur.
• We work collaboratively with engineers at all levels.
• We troubleshoot and resolve stability issues across multiple software baselines.
• We configure and install Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems.
• We configure and install network switches from vendors such as Dell and Cisco.
• We set up additional network infrastructure devices that support program requirements, including NAS devices and terminal servers.
• We integrate and test real-time embedded software, application software, and tools running on Linux.
• We maintain and enhance the tooling infrastructure.
• We may travel domestically and internationally as needed.
