Role Overview

Are you a persuasive communicator who thrives on closing the loop and helping homeowners solve their home service needs?

We are looking for an Outbound Sales & Follow-Up Representative with strong phone sales experience and a passion for customer service. In this role, you will make outbound calls to existing customers to follow up on estimates previously provided by our field technicians (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical).

You won't be cold-calling stranger lists-you will be consulting with homeowners who have already met our team, reviewing their open quotes, answering questions, addressing hesitations, and closing the sale to get their services scheduled.

Job Functions:

• Drive Follow-Up Sales: Proactively contact existing clients to follow up on open estimates provided by our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical technicians.
• Consultative Selling: Ask insightful, qualifying questions to uncover underlying customer needs, overcome objections, and present the value of completing recommended repairs or upgrades.
• Customer Care & Trust: Build immediate rapport, listen actively, and approach every call as a trusted advisor committed to solving the homeowner's problems.
• Cross-Selling & Opportunity Discovery: Identify additional service needs and educate customers on relevant Michael & Son solutions.
• Schedule & Coordinate: Secure customer commitments and coordinate scheduling with the dispatch team to finalize service calls.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Track customer interactions, update account details, and manage pipeline follow-ups within our system.

What We Are Looking For

• Phone Sales Background: Proven track record in phone-based sales, telesales, outbound account management, or inside sales.
• Customer Service Mindset: High emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and a genuine desire to help people.
• Strategic & Solution-Oriented: Ability to think on your feet, overcome objections, and guide a customer from "thinking about it" to a confident decision.
• Comfortable with Goals: Thrives in a target-driven environment with performance bonuses.
• Tech-Savvy: Strong computer navigation skills. Experience with ServiceTitan software is a major plus, but not required (we will train you!).
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including weekends as needed.
• Education & Background: High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to pass a background check.
