School Physical Therapist | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Step into a vital role making a real difference in the life of a medically fragile, bed-bound middle school student west of Philadelphia. This contract opportunity is uniquely suited for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Physical Therapist, but non-bilingual PTs are also encouraged to apply-an interpreter may be provided if necessary. The position is available immediately or for the next school year, with a commitment extending through the end of the 2027 school year and the potential for long-term collaboration.


In this role, you'll provide compassionate, one-on-one physical therapy services for 2.5 hours per week, working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside PTs, OTs, and SLPs. You'll play a crucial part in supporting a child and family whose primary language is Spanish, creating consistency and trust through ongoing care.


What We're Looking For:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Spanish/English bilingual skills highly desired (interpreters may be arranged for non-bilingual PTs)
• Commitment to reliability and long-term support
• Understanding of working with medically fragile and bed-bound students
• Comfort with written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with care teams and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized PT services to meet the needs of the student
• Assess and document progress, communicating updates professionally
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize student outcomes
