We are seeking a Service Manager who can lead from the front, develop a high-performing team, and help scale our HVAC operations.Position OverviewThe Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our HVAC service department in the Quad Cities market, ensuring efficiency, quality workmanship, and an outstanding customer experience. This role is responsible for leading technicians, managing schedules and performance, supporting revenue growth, and maintaining high operational standards.This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance team development, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and mentor HVAC Service TechniciansConduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and ongoing trainingFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalismSupport recruiting, onboarding, and retention of service staffOperations & SchedulingOversee daily service scheduling and dispatch operationsEnsure jobs are completed efficiently, on time, and to company standardsManage technician workload and drive productivityTrack and manage KPIs such as close rate, average ticket, and callback rateCustomer ExperienceEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction on all service callsHandle escalated customer concerns professionally and promptlyMaintain strong communication with customers and internal teamsSales & Revenue GrowthSupport technicians in identifying repair and replacement opportunitiesCoach team on effective communication and proper recommendationsPartner with Comfort Advisors on system replacement opportunitiesDrive department performance to meet or exceed revenue goalsQuality Control & ComplianceEnsure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and company expectationsConduct job site inspections and quality auditsMaintain accurate service documentation and recordsAdministrative & Systems ManagementUtilize CRM and service software (ServiceTitan preferred) for tracking and reportingReview invoices, estimates, and job notes for accuracyCollaborate with leadership on forecasting and process improvementsWhat We're Looking ForProven HVAC service experience; leadership or management experience preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair processesAbility to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountableExcellent communication and customer service skillsHighly organized with strong problem-solving abilitiesExperience with ServiceTitan or similar platforms preferredValid driver's license and clean driving recordWhat You Can ExpectA leadership role with direct impact on the growth of the Quad Cities marketA strong, team-oriented culture built on core valuesOpportunity to build and lead a high-performing service teamSupport from ownership and leadership invested in your successContingenciesMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a background check
