Wealth Relationship Manager SAFE Ac The Wealth Relationship Manager SAFE Ac role is a seasoned professional position that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributes to the development of new techniques, and improves processes and workflow for the area or function. The role integrates subject matter and industry expertise, coordinating with others to meet business objectives. Candidates evaluate complex issues, develop approaches, and balance conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong analytical, communication, diplomacy, and leadership skills are required, with coaching and training responsibilities for new recruits. Responsibilities Identify, build, and deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share of the affluent and high net worth segment with financial planning and excellent discovery and profiling skills. Anticipate the complex financial needs of clients and offer solutions through a range of products, services, and tools based on client profiling. With product specialists, intuitively recognize and understand clients’ banking, credit, and investment needs to provide holistic financial solutions. Provide regular value‑added engagement, including high‑touch, face‑to‑face meetings at clients’ preferred locations, consistent communication, and access to seminars. Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio. Proactively source, acquire, and expand high‑value customer relationships by maximizing sale and service opportunities. Refer opportunities to segment partners such as lending consultants, financial advisors, small business partners, and relationship managers. Organize client events to enhance client bonding. Acquire new clients through converting referral leads. Manage client follow‑up and adhere to all regulatory and compliance operating procedures. Ensure that KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to. Partner with all roles on branch teams to ensure a positive in‑branch experience for all clients. Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Qualifications 5‑8 years of experience. Strong analytical and financial skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organized with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and experience using Money Guide Pro, NaviPlan Select, or similar financial planning software preferred. Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred. Self‑starter, problem solver, and goal‑oriented team player who can work without direction. Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 6, 63, and 65 or Series 7 and 66, or equivalent. Must meet all US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role. Life insurance license required; must meet all life insurance license requirements within 150 days of starting in the role. The position requires registration as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, obtaining a unique identifier, maintaining and renewing the registration annually, and providing the identifier to consumers as required by SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies.
