Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Chillicothe, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service. Use clear communication and computer or tablet skills to support security-related operations while working with an agile, reliable, innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sat 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Sun 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, observations, and incidents in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports. Observe for unusual conditions, equipment-related hazards, and policy concerns during patrols, and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
