One Step Forward is hiring an ABA Therapist to provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in Newark and surrounding Essex County communities.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with children while helping them build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through evidence based ABA programs. We are looking for motivated professionals who are passionate about helping children make meaningful progress.
What You’ll Be DoingProvide direct one on one ABA therapy sessions
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
Utilize ABA strategies including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and behavior intervention techniques
Collect accurate session data and complete detailed session notes
Collaborate with supervising BCBAs regarding treatment progress and goals
Competitive pay of $22–$32 per hour based on experience
Consistent after school opportunities
Ongoing BCBA supervision and support
Structured ABA programs with strong clinical guidance

Experience working with children preferred
ABA, RBT, Behavior Technician, childcare, special education, or behavioral health experience is a plus
