Experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Employment Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered pediatric primary care and building lasting relationships with children and their families.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you’ll be an integral member of a forward-thinking clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and service in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Nurse Practitioner Essential Functions:

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence
• Perform well-child visits, physical examinations, and developmental assessments
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and conditions
• Provide preventive care, health education, and anticipatory guidance
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
• Educate parents and caregivers regarding their child's health and wellness
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification (PNP)
• Current national board certification
• Prior pediatric primary care experience prefferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, professional, and family-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Education and Experience:

• Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse licensure required
• Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, such as a Master of Science in nursing
