Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced GIS Tech to fill a three-year contract assignment in the Naperville, IL area. This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary. Job Title: GIS Tech 2 Work Location: Naperville, IL Hybrid Schedule: Monday-Thursday in office, with Friday remote. Requirements Diploma or certificate in Geographical Information Systems or related curriculum. 2-4 Years Experience in a related field. 2-4 Years working with ESRI GIS software, tools and databases. Gas utility experience and as-built mapping experience Responsibilities Manage routine GIS tasks, including data management and map creation ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Create maps and other visual representations using GIS tools. Ensure timely updates to GIS databases. Collaborate with GIS Analysts on complex projects. Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies. Provide input on GIS tool enhancements.
