Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Jackson, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials, following post orders, and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
