Position Overview We are seeking part‑time Sales Associates to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales in a dynamic retail environment. Position Type Hourly. Starting at $17.29. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers promptly, providing efficient help to multiple customers. Assess customer needs, share product knowledge, answer questions, direct them to merchandise, and offer recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability. Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. Resolve customer concerns, offering alternative solutions and turning returns into exchanges when possible. Communicate needs to management regarding merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback. Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives. Qualifications At least 16 years old. Available to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends and overnight shifts. Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices. Good verbal communication skills and ability to engage customers. Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally. Basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems. Capacity to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training. Essential Job Functions Operate cash register frequently. Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 feet. Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Kneel, bend, twist, and stoop frequently, including in the stock room and on the sales floor. Communicate and exchange information with customers via telephone and face‑to‑face. Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, which may include travel. Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
