Overview Senior Hydrogeologist / Senior Project Manager - Environmental Consulting . Open to multiple locations. An employee-owned environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist / Senior Project Manager to lead complex and rewarding environmental projects across the U.S. This role offers technical leadership, client-facing responsibilities, and the opportunity to mentor the next generation of hydrogeologists/geologists. Key Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary site investigations, including drilling, aquifer testing, sampling, and well installation. Develop conceptual site models and conduct fate & transport evaluations. Oversee field activities, subcontractors, and H&S compliance. Apply advanced groundwater modeling (MODFLOW, MT3D, EVS, VISTAS, etc.) to support remediation strategies. Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, and SOPs. Mentor junior staff and perform quality control reviews. Act as a subject matter expert in client and regulatory discussions. Support litigation (discovery, affidavits, deposition, trial). Travel up to 30%, including overnight stays. What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's in Hydrogeology, Geology, Hydrology, Engineering, or related field. 15-20 years of professional experience in environmental consulting. Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license. Strong background in hydrogeologic site characterization, groundwater modeling, and remediation optimization. Familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulatory programs. Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. Why Apply?
