This dynamic, school-based role allows you to use your SLP expertise in a collaborative educational environment where your skills will have a significant impact.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to promote student success
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in both group and individual settings
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation on student progress and compliance with IDEA regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team-based planning
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment to help students achieve their communication goals
