Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 18 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse OR | $2960 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 hours/week Job Details Specialty: Registered Nurse Operating Room Schedule: 40 hours/week | Day Shift The facility will consider: Five 8‑hour shifts Four 10‑hour shifts Two 8‑hour shifts + two 12‑hour shifts Shift: Starting at 6:30 AM Contract Duration: 18 weeks Dates: October 5, 2026 – February 7, 2027 On-Call: No Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate. Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide perioperative nursing care in a hospital surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong OR experience and the ability to work a flexible schedule while supporting safe and efficient surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process. Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for surgical procedures. Assist with surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique. Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies. Qualifications / Initial Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or eligible compact license. Previous Operating Room/OR nursing experience required. BLS certification required. Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. AG Globe Services Job ID #MM20018.
