Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in providing respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and implement appropriate interventions.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Float between departments as needed to meet facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric populations in an ICU setting.
• Exhibit a commitment to providing optimal patient care and support.

Additional Information

• This position requires the ability to float within the scope of practice to meet departmental needs.
• Only applicants who have been away from the organization for at least one year are eligible to return as travelers.
• Extensions beyond the initial contract are limited, requiring a six-month break before returning.
• No holiday requests will be accepted; only a maximum of four days of time-off (RTO) are allowed during the assignment.
