- Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe environments for patients, residents, staff, and visitors in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
- Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash.
- Follow proper infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures when cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas.
- Replenish supplies and report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Work alongside healthcare professionals and facility staff to help maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning and infection-control procedures
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a positive, service-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical housekeeping duties throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
