Clinical Supervisor

Position Details This is a Licensed Mental Health Professional Supervisor role located in Shreveport, LA. The position is a management level role, responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of assigned regions and for coordinating delivery of care management operations to the DOJ target population, including members with mental health diagnoses, complex medical conditions, and socio‑economic and comorbidities. Role Specific Responsibilities Train, instruct, and evaluate workers and assign work. Effectively communicate program, administrative, and clinical direction to subordinate staff. Discuss cases with case managers and make suggestions and recommendations. Review case records for completeness, consistency, and quality of case management services, ensuring compliance with state and federal mandates. Consult with individual case managers to promote staff development and suggest solutions to problem cases. Analyze and make recommendations on special, complicated, or problem cases. Assist in planning, developing, and implementing mandatory and discretionary mental health programs in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations. Stay informed of new developments in psychiatric social work, marriage and family therapy, or related fields. Identify staff training and development requirements and provide training and guidance to ensure effective mental health service delivery. Carry a caseload that includes more complicated or emergency casework assignments as required. Review and/or approve treatment authorization requests from hospitals, contracted networks, or community-based providers per state and Department of Mental Health contract compliance requirements. Two years of clinical experience working with adults with severe mental illness. Two years of experience in a supervisory role. Valid Louisiana Driver's License and appropriate state and federal clearances. LPC or LCSW with a current unrestricted license to practice in the state of Louisiana. #J-18808-Ljbffr
