Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will have a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

• Assisting physical therapists in the execution of individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient recovery.
• Guiding patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring correct techniques are used to maximize effectiveness and safety.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, utilizing electronic health record systems to report findings back to the physical therapist.
• Educating patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and practices to help them manage their ongoing recovery at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of or eligibility for a valid Virginia PTA License.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred, we value passionate candidates with a genuine desire to learn and grow within their profession. Certification in CPR and familiarity with various electronic health record systems will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a salary, we provide:
