Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective perioperative care for patients undergoing surgery, across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Scrub, circulate, and, as needed, work in the recovery room to support the surgical team
- Communicate effectively with the perioperative team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nursing staff
- Maintain patient- and family-centered care, protecting confidentiality and privacy throughout perioperative processes
- Adhere to sterile technique, infection prevention, and safety protocols; recognize and respond to intraoperative changes
- Document patient status, intraoperative events, and transitions of care clearly and accurately

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Maine (or the appropriate state for practice)
- Perioperative/Operating Room experience preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Covid-19 vaccination required
- Ability to scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as part of the perioperative team
