Dental HygienistIn order to ensure quality dental services, the Dental Hygienist assists the Dentist in providing dental care to patients.Essential Duties/Position Responsibilities:Provides dental care to patients.Assesses patients' general dental condition and care needs.Conducts oral cancer screening exams and x-rays.Offers practical suggestions to patients to ensure proper oral hygiene.Performs routine oral hygiene maintenance procedures and applications for damage prevention.Works with dental staff to sterilize dental instruments and equipment.Collaborates with dental staff to evaluate patient medical chart information as it relates to dental.Documents updated patient data on EMR system related to dental procedures.Enters patient health data into the electronic medical records system (EMR) database.Education and Experience:Associates degree preferred.Previous experience working as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.Site with Opening: Del Mar Clinic Aurora, COHiring Organization: STRIDE Community Health CenterPractice Highlights:At STRIDE Community Health Center, we're dedicated to more than just providing healthcare—we're committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of our patients and the communities we serve.
