CT Technologist

Eligible for up to $7000 Sign On Bonus if hired! Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Oakleaf in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Mon-Thurs 0800-1830. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

As a CT Technologist you will be responsible for:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

If hired must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
