Step into a contract role supporting K-6 or K-8 students with speech and language needs on a collaborative campus comprised of four buildings. This opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact by serving a caseload of 30-40 students with mild to moderate disabilities, beginning in late August and continuing through May.

Required Expertise and Credentials:

• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
• NPI number (Medicaid requirements)
• Experience supporting pediatric populations in school settings
• Accepts SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and best practices
• Strong collaboration skills for working across multiple buildings
• Ability to effectively support diverse learners, including those with mild to moderate disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades K-6 or K-8, following assigned caseloads
• Administer assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student achievement
• Document progress and maintain compliant records for Medicaid billing, as required
• Deliver services across a cohesive campus, ensuring continuity of care for students

The contract offers a full schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working closely with dedicated special education professionals in a supportive environment.
