Cybersecurity Project Manager

Location: New York, NY 10004 Duration: 2 years Contract Position First two week's onsite and then remote; however, flexibility is required to come into the office when required. At 2 Broadway in NYC primarily, or at JCC in Jamaica Queens upon request.

10+ years' experience - PMP and/or Agile certification Requirements This position will manage and execute all aspects of cybersecurity projects in any one of the following specialties: systems/business analysis, development and implementation of applications in a cloud-based environment, and implementation of Identity Management products. Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, eight years' experience in the appropriate specialties and a minimum of two years' experience as a project manager (PMP and/or Agile certification is desirable). Experience should include a sound understanding of technical issues, cybersecurity, and outstanding planning (experience in preparation of project plans a must), scheduling, implementation, and evaluation skills. Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing with the user community and the technical staff is essential.

• Provide project management services on various cybersecurity application, cloud and management initiatives, focusing on timely delivery, governance, and risk management following standard frameworks and best practices
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with detailed project plans and timelines
• Responsible for monitoring project progress throughout the lifecycle
• Lead and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews with cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with Divisional Cybersecurity Office teams to ensure they have the information necessary to support their users
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple units to achieve strategic objectives
• Analyze cybersecurity reports for data integrity, trends, themes, and improvement opportunities
• Prepare materials for status reviews with business and IT leadership
• Maintain library of cybersecurity templates and documentation
• Generate and analyze data queries for risk management analysis
• Proven solid background in project management frameworks, documentation, risk identification, problem assessment, vendor management, financial analysis, development of alternative solutions, cost/benefit analysis of alternative solutions and working with technical resources/vendors

Additional Skills and Information: Extensive experience in Scrum and waterfall project management. Excellent presentation skills.
