About the Team

New Verticals is an exciting team at DoorDash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers beyond restaurant deliveries (e.g., Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail). Our Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics team has three major mandates to effectively onboard merchants, fulfill every order with speed & accuracy and improve our logistics network. We are able to do this by identifying efficiencies, building product toolings and launching operational processes at scale. You will test, iterate and scale product features and operational initiatives to ensure our merchants are fulfilling orders with speed and high quality. You will own and deliver on improving key metrics. You will create quarterly and annual plans that push our business forward and are aligned with our product capabilities. You’re analytical.

You have a data-driven mindset, live and breathe numbers, and use them to understand problems and tell stories. You’re very comfortable using Excel and visualizing data; you ideally have SQL experience! You have 1-3+ years of experience.

Ideally in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, banking, food & beverage, high-growth startups, etc. You solve problems from first principles.

You’re excited to think innovatively, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking. You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot.

You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree. Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location. DoorDash cares about you and your overall well-being. flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles:

vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
