Senior Machine Learning Engineer - GenAI / Agentic AI

Location: United States (Hybrid)

$180,000 - £250,000 base salary + Bonus, RSUs

The Team
You would join an elite ML/AI group within their enterprise technology division. This team applies cutting-edge ML and Generative AI to orchestrate intelligent agents that improve resilience, reduce operational risk, and drive efficiency across one of the most complex infrastructures in the industry. By combining classical ML with agentic AI, they are redefining production management at global scale.

The Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer , you will design and deploy AI-driven agents capable of reasoning, diagnosing, and acting in production environments. This includes:

• Building tool-using AI agents with safety and compliance guardrails
• Productionizing LLMs with retrieval pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and response validation
• Integrating agentic AI into observability, deployment, and incident management systems
• Optimizing scale, cost, and performance of AI systems under real-world load
• Partnering with global engineering teams to deliver measurable business impact

What They're Looking For

• 7+ years' experience in ML engineering or applied data science
• Expertise in Python (plus C++, Go, or Java)
• Track record of deploying ML systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, tool-calling)
• Cloud-native engineering (AWS preferred) and strong software design fundamentals
