About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous cardiac stepdown experience License: Must hold an active Illinois license at the time of submission Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Must have EPIC experience Description: The traveler will be part of an interdisciplinary team. Contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of care to patients. Candidates may be required to float within the same discipline across multiple campuses. Day shift has a patient ratio of 1:4-5. Night shift has a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Assigning safe patient loads will be a priority, considering the cardiac experience of the team. Professional references should be from within the last 24 months. A valid driver’s license is required. Candidates must hold current certifications in BLS and ACLS from recognized bodies.
