Position Overview

We're in search of a dedicated and talented Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a thriving team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform critical diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative group of clinicians, and offer reassurance to patients through timely and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities
  • Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each phase with empathy and transparency
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-tier diagnostic images
  • Manage and maintain imaging equipment, alerting staff immediately to any malfunctions
  • Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
  • Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred
Certifications Required
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
Skills Needed
  • Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
