Position Overview
The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients within Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


• Deliver direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize abnormal rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions
• Float to designated units as needed based on hospital operational requirements
• Follow hospital safety, infection control, and compliance standards


Required Experience :


• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
• Strong acute care hospital experience


Required Certifications:
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
