Medical Laboratory Technologist – Hematology

Schedule: 11p - 7:30a

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
Certification: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
Experience with Cerner EMR
Familiarity with Sysmex and CellaVision systems
Experience in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds)
Competence in handling complex samples, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform hematology tests and analyses with accuracy and efficiency.
Handle and process a variety of complex biological samples.
Conduct differential counts and ensure quality control of laboratory procedures.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated with industry standards and laboratory best practices.
