Senior Examiner, Personal Umbrella Claims Remote work environment may be considered. This role evaluates and manages excess personal liability claims—including auto, premises, personal injury, and other liability cases—within a fast‑paced environment. The examiner investigates, evaluates, and resolves these claims, working both independently and collaboratively with teams. Candidates should have at least five years of personal umbrella experience and a proven track record of handling high‑severity and complex exposure claims. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Personal Umbrella Insurance experience. Experience conducting thorough investigations, obtaining statements, and analyzing documentation for Personal Umbrella claims. 3‑5 years’ experience supporting a variety of claims including auto, homeowner, casualty, and defamation. Experience managing attorney‑retained or high‑severity/complex exposure claims. Familiarity with a range of liability scenarios—from straightforward to complex (e.g., dog bites, slip/falls) preferred within a TPA or carrier setting. Strong technical expertise in policy analysis, coverage, and litigation management; knowledge of statutory requirements for multi‑state claims preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying information to internal and external customers. Proven investigative, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Current Adjuster License or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment. Familiarity with Department of Insurance guidelines and compliance requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software. Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
