- Administer chemotherapy, morphine drips, Dilaudid drips, PCA pumps, and other oncologic medications following safety protocols.
- Monitor patients for oncologic emergencies and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately using the Epic system and communicate effectively via SBAR.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with chemo precautions, DNR/CC directives, and facility policies.
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout the oncology care continuum.
- Hold an active and valid RN license in Georgia or a Compact state.
- Possess at least 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, oncology treatments, and emergency response.
- Maintain current BLS certification; OCN certification required or in progress.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts and float within the facility when needed.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation.
