Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

• Shift: Nights
• Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Every Other Weekend Requirement

Unit Details

• Type: Emergency Room (ER)
• Trauma Level: Level III - STEMI and Stroke Receiving
• Average Patient Volume: Approximately 70 patients daily
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 depending on acuity
• Number of Beds: 18 including 4 critical rooms
• Fast Track and Triage area available, with travelers allowed to participate

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Administering medications and treatments as per medical guidelines.
• Monitoring patient conditions and providing necessary interventions.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and mid-level providers
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Participating in orienting new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS.
• Must successfully pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia test (83%) prior to contract signing, with three attempts allowed.
• Must not have been directly employed by any associated facilities within the past year.

Additional Information

• No call or standby requirement.
• Travelers may be required to float as needed.
• Security available in-house 24/7.
• Orientation will consist of 1-3 shifts based on experience.
• RN roles do not include setting up placements for psychiatric patients.
