We are committed to providing whole person care, investing in your well-being, and enriching your career.Key Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 8-hour Day/Evening/Night shifts On-call weekend rotationJob Description: Maintains, repairs and operates heavy gasoline and diesel powered equipment, assists with landscaping and maintains the grounds, sidewalks, driveways and parking lots.Principle Responsibilities:Provides timely and professional grounds care.Maintains all entrances of the facility.Fertilizes and cuts grass and trims trees and shrubs.Provides preventative maintenance.Schedules and facilitates work order/preventative maintenance completion with hospital staff, vendors, and contractors.Reports hazards and/or potential work hazards in our facilities in order to prevent injury to self, peers, patients and visitors.Pickup all debris, paper cans etc. around the entire building and grounds.May work with grounds vendors to ensure property is setup for each season.May need to assist with sweeping and sidewalk upkeep.May need to maintain and repair underground irrigation system.May need to maintain parking lots and drives.May need to help with equipment breakdowns.May need to do basic math problems.May need to order supplies and equipment.May provide direction and assign work to the Groundskeeper Associate.Provides maintenance and repair of parking lots.Keeps parking lots, sidewalks and driveways free of snow and ice during winter months.Services and repairs all grounds equipment.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description2+ years of general maintenance and grounds keeping0 to 2 years of basic computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDLicenses/Certifications:Valid Driver's License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employmentDepartment of Transportation Certified upon hire requiredPhysical Demands:Medium Work:Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay Range: $22.42 to $29.29 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
