Lead Android DeveloperLocation: St. Louis, MODuration: 12+ monthsRole of a Lead Developer:Work with stakeholders, tech leads, architects, and project managers to review and understand requirements and ensure that the team has a clear and complete picture of successful deliveryCreate designs that meet requirements and work with leads and architects to facilitate the review and approval process with key stakeholdersWork with team for breaking down project work into stories, size development effort, and plan sprintsWork with team’s resources, and support team members in overcoming technical and project challenges to complete planned workFacilitate internal technical support for your team’s projects to achieve successful production deploymentSupport the creation and maintenance of internal technical documentationProvide technical leadership, and mentor other technical resourcesExperience in the technical decision making process that defines the architecture and implementation of our mobile productsTechnical experience needed for a Lead Developer:Experience in design and implementation of Mobile and Web Architecture with domain knowledge in Android, iOS and Web Development platformsStrong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesHands-on experience in most of the following:Java, Kotlin (OOP)Android SDK, different versions of AndroidMVC architecture, Design patterns, Memory managementSecurity frameworkExperience in Android Studio IDEUnderstanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelinesExperience in Android development, including non-UI componentsExperience in developing and integrating with SDKsExperience in digital identity, security and cryptography is an added advantageStrong knowledge of Android patterns, performance recommendations, threading and best practicesExperience working with remote data via REST and JSONWorking knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologiesMust be keen on maintaining product qualityAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsFamiliarity with SDLC processes and Agile MethodologiesProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git etc.Self-motivated with the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal directionGood to have skills:Spring boot, Microservices (Azure)Cross-Platform (React-Native, Flutter)Fusion Tools including Rally, JenkinsSecurity Coding Techniques and Tools - Fortify, & OWASP vulnerabilities
