Audiology AssistantResponsible for assisting licensed audiologists in the evaluation and management of patients with hearing and balance disorders.Does this position require Patient Care? YesEssential Functions:Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for evaluations or tests.Perform basic hearing tests, such as pure-tone audiometry and speech audiometry, under the supervision of licensed audiologists.Assist in balance assessments and screenings.Administer and calibrate hearing aid equipment.Provide patients with information about audiological procedures, hearing aids, and assistive listening devices.Instruct patients on the proper use and maintenance of hearing aids.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
