Senior Project Architect

Experience Level Senior Type Full-Time, In Office Role Overview As a director of architecture, you will report directly to the Principal Architect and lead a team of architects to produce and manage projects from design through construction. You will work directly with clients and sub-consultants in the areas of education, healthcare, municipal, industrial and other challenging market sectors. You will be involved in business development to bring on new projects. Core Position Responsibilities Develop projects from inception, including design and presentation materials. Lead and manage the design and execution of complex architectural projects including commercial, municipal, and industrial buildings Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and documentation using advanced design tools and software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to define project requirements, develop design solutions, and ensure project objectives are met. Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge Manage project proposals, budgets, schedules and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Develop Plans and Specifications suitable for Permitting, Bidding and Construction. Ensure Plans and Specifications are coordinated. Serve as primary point of contact and project liaison to assist with the resolution of construction issues and conduct site observations Perform Construction Administration including site visits, jobsite meetings, field reports and documentation. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and other appropriate employees.
