Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 15-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders while helping them achieve improved communication, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific goals.
• Assess and treat dysphagia and swallowing disorders.
• Provide speech and language therapy interventions to improve communication skills.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP Certification preferred.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or healthcare experience preferred.
