Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials and products within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

1st shift: 6am-2:30pm

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts: Sit down, EPJ, and stand Up Reach
• Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are handled safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting.
• Assist in materials handling and heavy lifting as needed throughout the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow and inventory management using warehouse management systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Availability to work weekends and overtime

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or related fields is preferred.
• MUST have previous experience with the following forklifts: Sit down, stand up Reach, and EPJ
• Knowledge of order picking processes, shipping & receiving practices, and materials handling techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to lift loads consistently and work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
