The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role within our large facilities maintenance department, handling routine equipment maintenance, facility upgrades, and specialized machinery repairs. This position requires flexibility to work regular daytime hours, shift work including nights and weekends, and on-call availability. The technician will utilize modern tools such as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and mobile maintenance applications to ensure efficient tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections
- Carry out safety checks and ensure compliance monitoring
- Maintain records and documentation accurately
- Manage and maintain tools and inventory
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly
- Support facility upgrades, renovations, and building systems maintenance
- Utilize CMMS and mobile maintenance apps for tracking and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles
- Strong mechanical skills and electrical knowledge
- Proficient in equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
