Overview

UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full‑time, general, non‑invasive cardiologist to join its expanding team in 2026 or 2027 with a clinical academic appointment. The role includes inpatient and outpatient services at UPMC Jameson and/or UPMC Horizon locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultations.
• Provide critical care services.
• Perform and interpret ECG analysis, transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and cardiac nuclear studies.
• Participate in weekly rotation with cardiologists.
• Share weekend coverage in a 1:4 ratio.
• Option to teach medical students and residents.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Cardiology.
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license.
• Proven experience in non‑invasive cardiology practice.
