We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Insurance Sales Account Representative to help individuals and families protect what matters most. You will identify customer needs, recommend appropriate insurance products, and build strong relationships that lead to long-term client retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective customers via inbound leads, referrals, and/or outbound prospecting
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable insurance policies (e.g., life, auto, home, health, or business)
• Explain coverage options, deductibles, premiums, and policy benefits clearly and accurately
• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads and track progress in CRM systems
• Follow up with prospects and assist clients through the application and underwriting process
• Educate clients on claim processes and coverage details
• Maintain active knowledge of products, underwriting rules, and state/federal regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and support after the sale to support renewals and referrals
• Meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred (insurance or related field is a plus)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to explain complex information in a simple, customer-friendly way
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working toward targets
• Willingness to learn insurance products and complete required training
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (if required by the role)
• Ability to pass licensing requirements (varies by location/type of insurance)

Licensing & Requirements (Customize as Needed)

• Must obtain and maintain the appropriate state insurance license(s) (e.g., Life/Health, Property/Casualty)
• Background checks may be required

Physical Requirements (Optional)

• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and attend meetings (including remote)
• Ability to use a computer and phone for daily customer outreach
